Modern Backyard Retreat with Interlock on Pool Deck and Walkway

Project Details

This Oakville backyard renovation features 900 square feet of Avari Carrera interlocking pavers and Raffinato stone steps for the back patio and walkway.  This backyard landscaping also included an 8ft long by 2-ft high sheer descent waterfall that complemented the inground pool installed by Mayascapes Pools.

The project includes the careful removal and reinstallation of existing pavers along the side of the residence, preserving materials while enhancing the pathway design. To maximize usable space and provide structural integrity, we installed about 50 feet of Parkwall retaining wall running parallel to the rear property line, creating clean lines and a polished appearance.

All drainage elements were meticulously engineered using swales that comply with Oakville municipal codes, ensuring proper water management throughout the property. The combination of premium materials, thoughtful design, and precise engineering has transformed this outdoor space into a modern, functional retreat that balances aesthetic appeal with practical considerations.
