This 2500 sq ft backyard transformation project in Milton, Ontario combined modern luxury, functionality, and recreation into one cohesive outdoor living space. The centerpiece of the design is a fiberglass pool, surrounded by soft and hardscape landscaping for a clean, contemporary look. The pool deck features Banas Dove Grey Natural Stone Coping (2″ straight edge) and accented by a Techo Bloc Raffinato 180 Grey Nickel waterfall feature. A dedicated tanning lounge area with premium poolside seating and an outdoor shower completes the resort-style atmosphere.

Adjacent to the pool, a pool bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink provides convenience and comfort. The entire pool and recreational area is enclosed with new modern fencing, and with soft landscaping including lush lawns, artificial turf, and border gardens surrounding the perimeter for a balanced natural aesthetic.

This Milton backyard retreat also features a covered outdoor kitchen and lounge area, fully equipped for year-round entertaining. This custom-built structure includes a cedar roof with two overhead fans, a sink, BBQ, two-burner stovetop, mini fridge, and lower cabinetry for storage. On the opposite side of the counter, a bar seating area offers the perfect spot for gatherings. The lounge area includes a mounted television and a dining space with a full outdoor table set, all protected under the covered structure.

Hardscape materials for this backyard renovation include Permacon Mega Melville pavers in Scandina Grey throughout, aluminum edging, modern Nickel Grey Ventia facing, and 6 inch wide Banas Dove Grey Natural Stone Steps with a straight edge natural stone coping on top. Soft landscaping complements the stonework with gardens, planters, and lawn areas integrated throughout the design.

The entire space is supported by concrete footings for retaining walls, gravel, and HPB base, ensuring structural integrity and long-term durability. Seal King Grey polymeric sand was applied throughout for stability and a refined finish.
